We are seeking an Pperations Manager to lead Australia's first fully automated textile sorting solution. This is an exciting 2-year contract with a not-for-profit organisation that is making a real difference in the circular economy. What you'll be doing: Taking a hands-on approach to equipment operation, software use, and routine maintenance Developing, refining, and adjusting processing "recipes" to optimise output Collaborating with the Business Development Manager and wider operations team to align goals Coordinating workflows and ensuring smooth day-to-day production Forecasting demand and planning resources effectively Overseeing daily operations and ensuring production targets are met Managing, coaching, and supporting production staff and volunteers To be successful in the role you will need: Previous experience in an operations leadership role Proven success in driving process improvements and operational efficiencies Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills A background or understanding of textile recycling (highly regarded but not essential) A current forklift licence What's in it for you?
