This is a Full Time position working Monday to Friday 0800-1600. Our maintenance team are more than just handy people. They work closely with residents and the village team to ensure the safety, repair and appearance of buildings, equipment, facilities and grounds. From hanging residents treasured pictures in their homes to undertaking refurbishments within our apartments; the opportunities are endless at Ryman. In this role you will: Lead a multi-disciplinary team to provide the village with efficient and effective maintenance services, ensuring that facilities and grounds are fit for purpose and provide a safe environment for all Complete the planned preventative maintenance and refurbishment programme by working with the Ryman Property team and Facilities ManagerBe a health & safety champion by ensuring that all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to by staff and contractors, always providing a safe environment for residents, staff and visitorsForm strong relationships and work closely with and support your team and colleagues About You To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have: Previous experience in a lead Maintenance role (trade qualifications are an advantage but not essential)Ability to lead a motivated and productive team and a varied contractor and supplier baseSound problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail Strong communication skills with experience in producing periodic maintenance and H&S reportsA reliable, friendly and professional manner About Ryman Welcome to Ryman!
