The opportunity Join the team at McGuire Hotels' RQ's Tavern in Robina, Queensland as a casual Gaming Staff member. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the gaming facilities within the tavern. Key responsibilities Provide friendly and efficient service to all customers in the gaming area Ensure the gaming machines and related equipment are well-maintained and functioning properly Assist customers with the use of gaming machines and respond to any queries or issues they may have Monitor gaming activities to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies Assist with the reconciliation of gaming machine cash and the completion of relevant paperwork Contribute to the overall positive atmosphere and experience for customers within the tavern What we're looking for Previous experience working in a customer service or gaming-related role, preferably within the hospitality industry Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of gaming machines and related equipment Knowledge of relevant gaming regulations and responsible gambling practices Commitment to working as part of a team to contribute to the overall success of the venue Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays What we offer As part of the McGuire Hotels' team, you'll enjoy a friendly and supportive work environment, opportunities for career development, and a range of employee benefits, including discounts on food and beverages.
