They are keen to introduce a new Building Estimator to their established team. The ideal person would be a confident Estimator who is skilled in cost estimation in the $10M - $70M range but looking to scale up to the $70M - $200M range. Key skills & Attributes: A history of success in hard dollar tendering An understanding of various tender models, including Lump Sum, Design and Construct, Construct Only, Managing Contractor and Early Contractor Involvement. Demonstrated versatility through experience across multiple sectors. A composed approach under pressure, balanced with a natural competitive drive. Someone who thrives in a team environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal While this builder engages external quantity surveying expertise the ability to independently measure quantities would be highly advantageous. Experience in sectors such as aged care, defence, sporting facilities, commercial or educational projects will be considered favourably. Success in this role requires a genuine willingness to collaborate not only with the estimating team but also the design management and project delivery team. Any insights or ideas you might bring will be genuinely valued. This building contractor operates on a foundation of trust and offers flexible working arrangements. Estimators are encouraged to be in the office at least three days per week, with the option to work remotely for up to two days once fully established.
