To be a successful applicant you must possess the following: International Freight Forwarding experience is essential - either in a sales; or someone with operations/customer service looking for an opportunity in sales Solid understanding of International Freight / Logistics processes with ability to provide and present solutions to potential customers Ability to source new business and build long-term relationships Excellent communication and presentation skills Proficiency in MS Office, as well CargoWise or similar operating system Duties & responsibilities include: Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current client base and potential new customers Achieve maximum sales profitability and growth through effective promotion of the logistics services to existing and potential customers Source and complete customer quotations Follow up sales leads and free hand traffic generated by overseas agents Maintain the sales pipeline with calls and prospects Network with sales team globally to develop strong relationships on unilateral clients Conduct follow up call/emails to customers/agent on quotes and sales leads Attend conferences and meeting both locally and overseas for networking opportunities Your success will be supported by the General Manager who will assist with the ground work of the establishment of the office and understanding of the business.
