We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join a large organisation in Sydney North Shore. This is a permanent role which requires strong experience working with PLC (Programmable logic controller). Reporting into the Director of Engineering Services, the role will focus around designing, programming, integrating, commissioning and maintaining all the control systems infrastructure and building management systems across the organisation. This role is based on the North Shore of Sydney and requires the Engineer to be onsite 5 days a week. Parking is available. Responsibilities: Support and troubleshoot existing control systems. Develop control and automation systems to manage the operations of the organisation. Design network and communication protocols and maintain them to ensure they work to standard. Coordinate repairs and maintenance with technician team when needed. Develop any further systems / new technologies that needed to be integrated across the business. Experience / Skills Required: Strong previous experience working in a Control System Engineer role with PLC. PLC programming experience with 5 years experience with Siemens PLCs and HMI's. 3 years experience with SCADA system design. Experience working with Structured Control Language (SCL) and Ladder Logic would also be highly desirable. Drivers License in NSW would also be beneficial. Fortnightly on-call cycle where you will need to provide after-hours support where needed. Experience in electronics design and servicing. SCADA Citect experience would be advantageous.
