The Opportunity At Pro Perform Physiotherapy we are looking for a new receptionist to join our front of house team in September/October 2025. This great opportunity is a part time position and would be perfect for someone who loves communicating with a variety of different people of all ages, who is organised, enjoys keeping busy, and thrives on contributing to a team effort. We are looking for someone with excellent people and personal skills, who loves to bring energy and a smile to the workplace, and has a strong work ethic. The front of house is an important role that provides the first point of contact to our patients and sets the tone for the remainder of their visit. We all work together to ensure they have the best experience possible as soon as they enter the doors, and until they leave. Our general reception hours are 8-1 and 2-7 Monday to Friday, with the occasional Saturday morning. The position is asking for approximately 10-15 hours per week. Availability for the Friday pm shift from 2-7 is essential. Along with our current reception staff, flexibility with your schedule is required to help cover annual and sick leave for other receptionists, as well as swap shifts when necessary to help out other team members. Key Responsibilities Welcoming patients and visitors, answering the telephone, and answer any enquiries in a professional and courteous manner Assisting patients with completing necessary forms and documentation Scheduling appointments Processing billing and payments, using medical software Faxing, scanning, filing, and mailing documentation Receive and convey messages in writing, verbally and electronically Type documents as required, with a high level of accuracy and professionalism General housekeeping duties including general cleaning and tidying Liaising with Medicare and private health funds Liaising with other medical departments such as physiotherapists, doctors, radiologists, medical specialists and psychologists with professionalism and discretion Help drive our digital marketing through posting on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, photo and video editing, as well as website alterations What We Are Looking For: Professional and happy presentation Punctual with a high level of self-motivation Excellent communication skills and telephone manner Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask Enjoy working in a busy environment High level of accuracy and attention to detail with all tasks Thrives on working within a team environment Flexibility with your schedule to help cover annual and sick leave for other receptionists, as well as swap shifts when necessary to help out other team members Experience using Social Media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram preferred but not essential Experience using software such as Canva for photo and video editing preferred but not essential Experience using Gmail and Google Docs preferred but not essential You will receive full on-site training from our experienced receptionists in learning our systems, processes and all our practice software programs.
