We are seeking a talented Product Design Engineer who can think like an engineer and ensure the feasibility of designs for high-volume production. They are looking for experienced, hands-on Product Design Engineers to improve the functionality and manufacturability of physical products. The Role As a Product Design Engineer, you will play an essential role in ensuring that frontend concepts created by designers are engineered for successful manufacturing. Key responsibilities include: Designing and optimising physical products with a primary focus on Design for Manufacture (DfM) Collaborating with the product team to assess feasibility and refine concepts into reliable, efficient designs Liaising with factories to ensure manufacturing processes align with design specifications Occasional international travel to manufacturers may be required Skills and experience We are looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven professional who has 3 years of experience and proven ability designing physical products degree in a relevant field such as: Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aeronautical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering ability to manage your own work as well as working effectively within a team ability to express ideas effectively and use various media appropriately, i.e. illustration, physical models, written and verbal communication expertise with 3D CAD (preferably SolidWorks) N.B. You must possess full, unrestricted and ongoing rights to work in Australia to be eligible for this role.
