Our client is seeking an accomplished Operations Manager to join a technology and delivery-focused defence engineering OEM. This is a key position within the business, helping deliver high end simulation systems to the War Fighter. The role: Lead the Operations Coordination Team to deliver program outcomes Development of maintenance solutions in support of proposals Supervise the development and management of the capability Workforce planning is essential Assisting, where required, the Responsible Managers Ensure that all managers have the resources required to meet tasks Help production teams meet deadlines Deliver against maintenance and flying requirements Customer and stakeholder management Management of Site EHS to meet company Goals Accurate and timely reporting to the Program Office Management of capability within defined budgets (staff utilisation and overhead budget control) Applicants must have the following: Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Maintenance, and logistics Project Management skills, business and finance experience Excellent leadership experience A highly experienced in planning Knowledge of Commonwealth procurement guidelines Experience in production, supply chain, facilities and inventory Minimum 10 years experience Business strategy experience Excellent communications skills both written and oral Candidates MUST hold a current AGSVA issued defence security clearance This role would suit candidates who have worked in complex defence programs in an Operations role and have delivered to the Commonwealth.
