To assist Assistant State Manager in the day-to-day operations and achieve or exceed budgeted sales and margins through the sale of products, systems and services for QLD Depot and preforming associated functions and responsibilities as listed below To ensure a quality service to customers and to ensure work is completed in a timely, safe and environmentally friendly manner Instigate pricing and availability checks with suppliers, establishes and quote prices along with delivery dates, enters customer orders on system and (where applicable) places a Purchase Order on Supplier for the required items Enter information onto the database system for existing and prospective clients in accordance with the company’s guidelines Answer inbound (and makes outbound) calls from/to potential and existing customers by telephone, fax and email to sell products and services Attend all company sponsored training programs, meetings, seminars, conferences, and stock takes when requested Provide quotes to customers and follow-up these quotes Enter data onto computer to produce delivery dockets, address labels and consignment notes Perform other clerical tasks such as typing, keeping files and other office duties as may be required Ensure goods received are correct and in an undamaged state prior to signing for any incoming shipments Deliver paperwork to departments Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the company charter To complete Hazard/ Near Miss Reports as required under OHS Act and Regulation and as required under the employees Duty of Care Control housekeeping within your area of operation Make reference to applicable (SWP) Standard Work Procedures (JSA) Job Safety Analysis (MHRA) Manual Handling Risk Assessments and (HCRA) Hazardous Chemical Risk Assessment Perform other duties as assigned Experience Required 1-years experience in an office work function Good computer skills 2 years in a similar position in the Industrial Electrical Industry If you are looking for a great opportunity in a position that offers longevity and possess the skills & experience required, please apply now or contact us directly: Office: 03 9088 6970 | Email: jess.wilson@rprtrades.com Please note that you need to reside in Australia to be considered for this position.
