The Systems Specialist – MES (Secondment) will support the Senior Systems Specialist in the configuration, testing, and pre go-live activities for the new MES platform. This role involves working closely with various teams to understand business needs, configuring the MES to meet site-specific operational requirements, and ensuring alignment with our quality standards. Accountabilities Requirements Analysis: Work closely with manufacturing, logistics, quality, and engineering teams to understand business needs and translate them into MES requirements. System Configuration: Support the configuration of the MES to meet site-specific operational needs, ensuring alignment with global standards and practices. Master Data: Support the migration of data from our existing legacy systems as well as the construction of new data derived from our product documentation and procedures. Continuous Improvement: Help identify opportunities for system enhancements and process optimizations, leveraging MES functionalities to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Training Programs: Assisting in the development of training material for MES users, including operators, supervisors, and maintenance personnel. Testing and Validation: Support the execution of site-specific test plans and scripts to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability before go-live. Feedback Mechanism: Assist in the collection of feedback from MES users, ensuring their concerns and suggestions are considered and acted upon. Cross-functional Collaboration: Take part in cross-functional meetings and workshops to discuss MES-related topics, share updates, and align priorities. Team Role (Individual contributor): Follow relevant quality procedures to deliver quality products and services and identify and support the implementation of continuous improvement. Contribute ideas on systems and process methods to improve deliverables. Work safely, complying with all safety procedures, rules, and instructions, and reporting workplace hazards, incidents or injuries to manager. Required Skills Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and industrial automation. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
