We are looking for a team player who can effectively lead and manage a geographically dispersed team including setting priorities, allocating resources, monitoring outcomes, developing local strategies, procedures and practices and establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders including neighbouring landholders, other government departments, industry groups,commercial operators, recreational user groups, and traditional owners. Your role will be diverse and includes delivering and reporting on annual work schedules and budgets for David Fleay Wildlife Park, recreational and infrastructure development (including fire management, wildlife management, capital works, strategic asset maintenance and pest management programs). Participate in agency planning and management processes and provide technical research and input into programs and projects. This Monday-to-Friday role, with occasional public holiday shifts, offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in conservation, education, and ecotourism.
