To keep up with client demand, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager in the water sector to join the Saunders International team at our head office based in Rhodes, NSW on a permanent full-time basis. RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will be responsible for covering multiple water projects across Sydney NSW. Project Execution Deliver all works in accordance with the schedule. Have a detailed understanding of upcoming work scopes. Study and know in detail the contents of the following documents: Project contracts Project schedules Project documents including method statements, execution plans and procedures. Cost estimates Keep OM and customer advised of significant problems or events. Monitor compliance with safe working procedures. Determine resource profile required to meet tank program milestones. Seek out innovation and assist with the implementing new or improved methods. Prepare and issue reports to company and client standards. Prepare all detailed technical enquiries and work scopes for third party suppliers/sub-contractors and raise procurement requisitions in Stripes, expedite the placement of procurement and sub-contract purchase orders. Line management of Tankage Engineer, Project Controls Engineer, Site Supervisors and overseeing of work crews, provide coaching where required to ensure that safety, quality, and productivity targets are met. Financial Management & Reporting Raise variations to the contract in accordance with the terms set out in the contract. Raise progress claims to the customer. Maximise the profit of the operation with due regard to safety, quality, and the Company’s reputation. Prepare and present end of month forecasting and reporting. ABOUT YOU Essential Degree or Trade qualification in engineering, construction, or project management field. Minimum 5 years Project Management experience, ideally Sydney Water based project experience, in SMP or Multi disciplined project management roles. The ability to always deliver what is required of you and support other team members to achieve their goals. Willing to review tasks and determine how they can be executed best to improve productivity.
