We are seeking to hire two Casual-Seasonal Harvest Casuals for the positions of a Header Driver and Field Bin Operator. The available positions will work across our Farms in Newdegate and Ravensthorpe. Newdegate is a townsite in the Wheatbelt agricultural region, 399 km south-east of Perth and 52 km east of Lake Grace in Western Australia. Ravensthorpe at the southern end of this farming is a town 541 km south-east of Perth and 40 km inland from the south coast of Western Australia. Position will commence on the 25th October 2025. About the roles This opportunity provides you with hands-on experience in driving and operating agricultural machinery during peak harvest season while working alongside a team of experienced agronomists and farmers. Header Driver: 1. Operating agricultural machinery and equipment, primarily the combine harvester. 2. Inspecting, cleaning, and conducting routine maintenance of farming equipment. 3. Adjusting equipment settings for optimal performance. 4. Following all safety regulations and operational procedures. 5. Keeping records of harvested crop amounts. Field Bin Operator : 1. Operating necessary machinery to move, load, unload, and store crops in field bins. 2. Maintaining and cleaning field bins and associated equipment. 3. Inspecting equipment and machinery to ensure it is in good working condition. 4. Assisting the harvesting team in transporting crops from the fields to storage areas. 5. Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. What you will bring to the role 1. Prior experience in performing farm-related duties, particularly operating machinery (combine harvester, tractors, trucks). 2. A current driver's license. 3. Physical fitness to perform strenuous tasks and work in all weather conditions. 4. A solid understanding of basic machinery maintenance. 5. Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team and show initiative when necessary. 6. Willingness to commit to flexible hours during the harvest season, including weekends. 7. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing situations. 8. Strong commitment to safety and operational protocols. What's on offer 1.
