Responsibilities: - Operate heavy machinery and plant equipment - Perform routine maintenance and checks on equipment - Adhere to safety regulations and protocols - Coordinate & Lead with team members & supervisors to ensure project efficiency - Document activity logs and maintenance records - Handle and transport materials as required - Troubleshoot and repair minor issues in machinery Main tasks: - Handling and operating diverse heavy machinery - Conducting pre-operational checks on equipment - Transporting materials within the job site - Leading your allocated team - Performing minor repairs and scheduling major maintenance - Maintaining accurate logs of work performed and machinery status - Ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines - Assisting in the setup and breakdown of machinery Relevant qualifications: Mobile Plant Operators typically need a high school diploma or equivalent, along with specialised training or certification in operating heavy machinery.
