You will provide case management and pastoral care to Apprentices as part of Enhanced services under the Australian Apprenticeships Support Services Contract. The aim of Enhanced Services is to improve Australian Apprentice completion rates. All eligible Australian Apprentices will be assessed and have the opportunity to seek support through Enhanced Services. Apprentices identified as requiring higher level support will receive support from a dedicated mentor. This role is highly rewarding and involves a holistic, empathetic, and proactive approach as you guide your clients to persevere through obstacles and help them achieve their career goals. Duties and responsibilities include: Manage a caseload of Apprentices nationally to increase completion rates Provide guidance and a no-wrong-door approach to high-risk apprentices Connect with employers, Apprentices and parent/guardian (if applicable) following set processes and procedures and contact schedule Undertake risk assessments, identify barriers, and create case management plans to address challenges Identify and utilise local/state/national organisations to assist with addressing barriers to completion Comply with with relevant policies and procedures applicable to the program Maintain accurate and detailed Enhanced Services records and file notes Keep data up-to-date to support accurate reporting to MEGT, Employment and the STA where required Keep internal stakeholders informed of progress by regular status reports Provide coaching and training as required. About you You will have experience in a similar mentoring or guidance role with significant call volumes and administration experience. You will have demonstrated the ability to engage, respect and support those of diverse demographics and social backgrounds with a strong focus on youth including: Previous experience fostering positive relationships with various external stakeholders including apprentices, employers, and parents/guardians Exceptional ability to identify appropriate solutions and provide proactive assistance including referral to specialist organisations Excellent communication and administration skills including strong CRM and data entry experience Strong problem solving skills and ability to interpret and assess information Proven experience in meeting set targets, KPIs and customer service standards Experience and/or qualifications in youth/social work, or working towards it would be highly regarded MEGT is committed to providing services that protect and keep children, young people and adults at risk free from harm as we have zero tolerance of racism, discrimination, harm, or abuse.
