16th September, 2025 Our client, who supplies construction products to commercial and residential projects across Perth are seeking an External Sales Representative to join their team based in their distribution centre in Malaga. The Role: Develop and expand sales with existing accounts and pursue new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with trade professionals, contractors, and distributors. Provide technical product knowledge and advice to ensure client needs are met. Prepare, negotiate, and deliver sales quotes, proposals, and contracts. Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth order fulfillment. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and new product developments. Achieve and exceed annual sales targets. Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions. Perform other duties as directed by the Managing Director. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years sales experience, preferably in plumbing, drainage, or building supplies. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on customer needs. Able to work effectively and professionally within a team environment. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Highly motivated and driven to achieve business success. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel across Greater Perth and WA. What is on offer? In return, you will be offered a full-time permanent salary varying between $75k-$80k super (dependant on experience). You will also obtain an annual bonus based on cooperate KPI’s. The work week is Monday to Friday from 7:50am to 4pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
