Key Responsibilities Receiving and Preparing Goods: Inspecting incoming and outgoing items, verifying them against consignment records, and ensuring they meet condition and specification standards. Order Processing: Picking and packing customer orders accurately and within set timeframes, using manual and electronic tools. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of goods received and despatched, creating and processing invoices, and verifying shipping documents. Inventory Management: Managing stock, performing stocktakes, and ensuring accurate inventory counts. Coordination and Communication: Liaising with drivers, internal teams (like customer service), and customers to manage deliveries, communicate order status, and resolve issues such as delays or discrepancies. Equipment Operation: Operating forklifts and other machinery for the safe movement and storage of stock. Safety and Compliance: Adhering to Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and company procedures, maintaining a clean and organised work area. System Usage: Confidently using computer systems, including ERP systems (such as Navision or Netsuite), to manage tasks and generate reports.
