Human Resources Generalist The role: We’re looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our Brisbane office and play a key role in supporting our growing team in Australia. This is a varied position covering the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to performance management, employee wellbeing, and employee relations. As the local HR contact, you’ll provide day-to-day operational support while also contributing to exciting global projects across Inside Travel Group. Key responsibilities: Provide first-line support on employee relations, including conduct, performance, grievances, and wellbeing. Manage recruitment and employer branding activities, ensuring a consistent candidate experience. Coordinate onboarding and induction, creating smooth and engaging experiences for new starters. Support employee engagement initiatives and collaborate with internal committees (social, wellbeing, L&D). Alongside the Global HR Manager, maintain and improve HR processes across the employee lifecycle. Contribute to reward and wellbeing strategies, ensuring fairness and competitiveness Represent HR locally, working closely with the AU Branch Integrator and leadership team to align people practices with business goals. What we are looking for from you: Proven HR generalist experience, ideally across the full employee lifecycle. Strong working knowledge of Australian employment law and best practice, ideally experience within a Retail setting. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities. Confident communication and relationship-building skills, able to engage employees and influence senior stakeholders. Empathy, integrity, and a people-first approach to problem solving. Comfortable working independently while staying connected to a global team. AHRI certification Bonus: experience working in an international context, training in mental health first aid, or a deep love of any of our destinations!
