Description Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Oversee and maintain the general ledger and reconciliations. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decisions. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns as required. Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits. Provide financial advice and insights to key stakeholders. Continuously improve financial processes and systems for efficiency. Profile A successful Financial Accountant should have: A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as CA or CPA (or working towards them). Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Experience in the life science industry is advantageous but not essential. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
