The Role You willl play a key leadership role in shaping and driving the health, safety, and compliance strategy across a large, multi-site business. Responsibilities include: Leading the development and continuous improvement of WHS systems, policies and procedures. Providing expert guidance to leaders and teams across operations, warehouse, transport, and corporate settings. Driving injury prevention, incident investigation (ICAM), and corrective actions to closure. Coordinating and delivering training, inductions, toolbox talks and site audits. Managing risk assessments for high-risk tasks such as working at heights, forklift operations, chemical handling, and traffic management. Overseeing workers compensation and RTW programs Engaging employees and leaders through safety initiatives, committee meetings, toolbox sessions and wellness programs Leading sustainability awareness and coordinating key health and safety events (e.g. Safety Week, Melanoma Awareness) Maintaining WHS reporting and regulatory compliance, including audits and documentation Your Background In order to be successful in this role, you will: Proven experience in a similar role within safety Experience in either wholesale, warehouse or distribution essential Experience leading safety across multi locations/ sites is essential In-depth knowledge of relevant safety legislation, regulations and standards Prior knowledge and experience with WHS and LMS systems Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills What's on Offer?
