About us: Central Queensland Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service provides specialist mental health, substance and alcohol related care to residents of Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Central Highlands and Banana areas (catchments in excess of a population of 250,000) with services located in each area. Rockhampton is the principal service centre and as such provides the administration of the Mental Health Act, 2016, and is the location of the acute adult inpatient facilities. In addition, there is an Adult Step Up Step Down facility located in Gladstone and an Adult Community Care Unit located in Rockhampton. About the role: Provide senior administrative support to all Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs (MHAODs) teams within the Central Queensland region, to ensure a consistent and robust approach is taken across the service. Deliver efficient, confidential business and administrative support to a high standard, to ensure optimal delivery of clinical services. Identify requirements for improvement in administrative systems, procedures and strategies and provide advice to the management accordingly: apply systems or procedural changes once approved and support staff to adapt to changes. Utilise a wide variety of PC based systems with demonstrated expertise in the use and application of Windows, word processing, spreadsheets, electronic mail, accurate data entry and retrieval from a variety of information systems.
