Are you ready to be a lifeline for women and families escaping domestic and family violence? We are now seeking a dedicated Crisis Support Worker to join our Domestic Violence Response Enhancement (DVRE) team and provide compassionate, face-to-face support during business hours (10am–6pm, Monday to Friday). Your role will addressing immediate needs, providing crisis case management, and ensuring ongoing safety for women and their children is prioritised. Key responsibilities will include undertaking risk assessments, safety planning, resource navigation, and referring clients to longer-term support services. This is a permanent, full-time permanent position, based in the office. Due to nature of this role, there will be no flexibility to work from home. Being a woman is a genuine occupational qualification for this position under s14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW). Key responsibilities: Deliver face-to-face crisis support and safety planning. Conduct risk assessments and connect clients to essential services. Provide trauma-informed care and help clients access long-term support. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure continuity of care. To be successful in this role, you will be required have: Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience. Strong understanding of domestic/family violence and crisis intervention.
