Job Description We’re looking for a professional and customer-focused Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager to join our team at Novotel Canberra! In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll support the Food & Beverage Manager in running daily operations, delivering outstanding service, and maintaining high standards across the venue. What You’ll Be Doing: Help manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar Support and guide the team through training and supervision Assist with rostering and shift scheduling Contribute to menu planning and pricing Monitor and uphold quality standards in food and beverage service Support budgeting and cost control efforts Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality standards Oversee inventory and stock control Manage cash handling and reconcile daily sales Respond to customer enquiries and feedback professionally Maintain a clean, welcoming environment for guests
