Deliver exceptional customer service in a fantastic environment About the role Reporting to the Retirement Living Manager, the Food and Beverage Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Food and Beverage services at St. Joseph’s Mews. Key responsibilities include the delivery of meals, snacks, and beverages; setting up and packing down café and bar areas; and managing staffing requirements. The role also involves liaising with the Retirement Living Manager and engaging with prospective residents to plan and coordinate regular in-house meetings and functions. About you You are a dedicated and experienced hospitality Team Leader with a strong background in bar, bistro, and café operations. Your focus is on delivering exceptional customer service, meeting guest needs, supporting menu planning, and coordinating functions. You consistently maintain a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment for residents and their guests. You will be Delivering exceptional customer service to residents and guests Organising and running successful in-house events and functions Ensuring all dining and common areas are clean, welcoming, and safe Collaborating with the Chef on menu planning and food service Managing stock, ordering supplies, and maintaining records Preparing proposals and event run sheets Supporting and training staff, fostering a positive team environment Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team.
