Communications/public affairs head sought at Australia for UNHCR The Australia for UNHCR aid organisation is in need of a new communications and public affairs chief, to be based in Sydney. The person will be in charge of Australia for UNHCR’s communications/public affairs engagement with stakeholders and key sectors, including the dissemination of relevant content. They will also closely liaise with the Board and National Director on thought leadership activities, as well as the UNHCR and its satellite offices around the world. The ideal candidate should be graduates of PR, journalism, communications, or marketing courses with over ten years’ experience. This includes proven competence in, among others, Australia media relations, stakeholder development, conducting interviews, and digital media.
