Maintenance Manager – Outback South Australia Live and work in one of Australia’s most iconic outback locations! We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Maintenance person to join a fantastic small team in Outback South Australia who can keep this multi-faceted operation running smoothly, while enjoying the adventure and lifestyle that only a remote posting can offer. This truly unique off grid property generates its own power and water supply and features motel accommodation, a caravan park, restaurant, retail & fuel outlets. As Maintenance manager you will oversee and carry out the day-to-day maintenance of the venue, ensuring everything from power generation to plumbing is running at peak performance. Being off grid with limited trade services close by, this role would ideally suit someone who has a broad range of maintenance and problem solving skills. The Role: Key Responsibilities Include: Leading all aspects of onsite maintenance in a hands-on capacity Performing routine and preventative maintenance on diesel generators, water/desalination plants, and site equipment Handling general carpentry, basic plumbing, and property repairs Monitoring fuel usage and ensuring safety protocols are followed Maintaining power and water systems, including emergency after-hours callouts as required Groundskeeping, rubbish collection, and general upkeep of communal areas Supporting the Site Manager with ad-hoc maintenance tasks About You: We’re seeking someone with a solid maintenance background, who’s self-motivated, proactive, and thrives in remote settings.
