POSITION Exotic Animal Trainer LOCATION Private Estate, Middle East ( The Client will arrange the work visa and relocation if not local ) PURPOSE OF THE POSITION To train and care for palace-owned exotic animals, using humane, goal-focused techniques. The Exotic Animal Trainer will promote optimal animal behavior and welfare through structured training programs and enrichment activities, while supporting the broader animal care and household team. QUALIFICATIONS / LICENSES / SKILLS Proven min 2 years experience working as an animal trainer, preferably with exotic animals and big cats. A background in zoology or a related certification Proven experience with training birds and reptiles a plus Proficiency in positive reinforcement and operant conditioning methods Strong observational, documentation, and behavioral analysis skills Fluent in English (spoken and written) Experience working in high-standard environments or private households is an advantage DUTIES Develop and implement custom training programs to meet behavioral objectives Design and lead enrichment activities to promote animal well-being and natural behaviors Work closely with veterinary staff, animal care teams, and management to ensure animal health and safety Maintain thorough records on training progress, behavior tracking, and health indicators Educate household staff or guests (if applicable) on animal interaction and care guidelines START DATE ASAP SALARY AED 6,000 - AED 7,000 per month (Tax Free in UAE) BENEFITS Shared accommodation Meals provided Health insurance One day off per week 30 days annual leave Return flight home every two years One-year renewable contract Please check your email inbox—and your junk folder—in case our reply to your application is filtered there.
