Description We’re looking for a reliable, people-focused security professional to join our friendly team as 2IC at a busy retail centre located in a welcoming, community-based area. You’ll support day-to-day operations, help lead the team, and bring a strong presence to the centre floor. About You You’re a seasoned Security Officer who takes pride in delivering great service and keeping people safe. You’re confident handling incidents, supporting a team, and working with local tenants and customers. Leadership comes naturally to you—and you’re ready for more. To be successful in this role, you’ll have: Previous experience in a retail or large-site security role Confidence managing and mentoring a small team Strong incident management, reporting, and communication skills A valid State Security Licence & Senior First Aid Certificate (essential) A professional, well-groomed presentation The ability to work the following permanent roster: Wed 07:30–18:00 | Thurs 09:00–21:00 | Fri 08:00–18:00 | Sat 09:00–18:00 What You’ll Be Doing Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you’ll be the 2IC on-site—helping lead the team, support day-to-day operations, and maintain a strong security presence across the centre. Your responsibilities will include: Floor supervision and team support Incident management and escalation Rostering and performance coaching Liaising with Centre Management and tenants Conflict resolution and emergency coordination Site audits, compliance checks, and reporting Why Join Glad Group?
