Management Consultant - Financial Services Transformation Location: Sydney Level: 4 years consulting experience Reports To: Senior Manager Department: Financial Services About the Role We are seeking a Manager with proven Big 4 consulting experience and deep financial services sector expertise to join a Transformation team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Consultant or Manager level consultant to join a great team direct with industry. In this role, you will be hands on within transformation engagements for a leading financial services organisation, optimize processes, and deliver large-scale change across business and technology domains. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end transformation engagements Work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects such as operating model redesign, process re-engineering, cost reduction, and digital transformation. Oversee delivery quality, project governance, and stakeholder management to ensure successful client outcomes. Lead and oversee business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and definition of functional and non-functional specifications to support effective solution design and delivery Apply structured consulting methodologies and change management practices to support transformation delivery. Required Experience & Skills 4 years of experience, including minimum 2 years in a Big 4 consulting environment (e.g., Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG). Proven experience in transformation projects for FS clients Strong knowledge of banking operating models, risk and regulatory frameworks, and transformation challenges. Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver results in fast-paced, client-facing environments. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure and deliver complex programs.
