Working closely with key partners, you will shape actionable intelligence measures, build strong operational relationships across the law enforcement and national intelligence communities, and engage in intelligence diplomacy with foreign counterparts. The key duties of the position include: Lead, manage, coach and mentor relevant intelligence staff. Provide advice and review influential intelligence products for a broad audience. Maintain strong relations with staff partner agencies, government, industry and other stakeholders at all levels. Shape and advise AUSTRAC’s intelligence priorities and strategic direction. Lead the development of new and innovative business intelligence, analytical, reporting and risk-based solutions. Represent and promote AUSTRAC’s input and effective use of financial intelligence. Develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships at all levels. What are we looking for We are seeking motivated individuals with strong analytical, leadership, and management skills to join the team. Required Strong knowledge of sectors relevant to financial intelligence, and crime types with applications for financial intelligence Strong experience and knowledge in leading the delivery of timely, high-quality and influential intelligence products Excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate to a broad range of audiences Desirable Strong inter-personal and teamwork skills, and proven ability to be self-motivated. A commitment to continual learning and skills development. A pragmatic approach to decision-making, especially in the presence of ambiguous project requirements Eligibility To be eligible for this role you: Must be an Australian citizen at the time you apply.
