The Role With a new depot in Keysborough and a strong pipeline of work, we are seeking experienced NDD Operators to join our valued team. Successful candidates will join a tightknit local team in Melbourne’s South-East and be members of the broader QEST NDD and Industrial Operations team located throughout Victoria, South Australia and Queensland. This position will work on a variety of construction and site-based projects. The role of an Operator will suit an individual who is hard working and enjoys working outdoors, this role is around 20% driving and 80% on the tools. Role requirements: Driving HR Truck with Hydro excavation unit Non-destructive digging with high pressure water to safely locate underground services Drain cleaning Work independently and in line with all safety guidelines to highest possible efficiencies. Liaise and assist clients on site as required ensuring they receive a first-class service from the QEST team. Complete relevant paperwork for each job. Adhere to all Company and legislative WHS policies and procedures. Ability to work extended hours if required. About You To be successful in this role, candidates will have: Ideally at least 3 years relevant experience working in a similar role. White Card. Heavy Rigid Drivers Licence. Strong mechanical aptitude. Rail Industry Worker Card (RIW) - an advantage. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to pass pre-employment medical and pass any/all random drug and alcohol tests. What’s on offer?
