About the role Flock at the Carrington in Bungendore, NSW is seeking an exceptional Head Chef to join our talented culinary team for its re-opening. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations and leading a dedicated team of passionate chefs. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and drive the culinary vision of our much loved establishment. Given the venue will initially be open Friday, Saturday & Sunday prep day, this will allow a positive work life balance for the right candidate. What you'll be doing Developing and implementing innovative menus that showcase fresh, seasonal produce and delight our customers Managing and mentoring a team of chefs to ensure the highest standards of food preparation and presentation Ensuring efficient kitchen operations, including inventory management, cost control, and compliance with health and safety regulations Collaborating with the management team to drive continuous improvement and enhance the overall dining experience Fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing kitchen culture What we're looking for Extensive experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a reputable restaurant, hotel, or catering establishment Hotel or pub dining experience is highly preferred Exceptional culinary skills with a emphasis on consistency and quality.
