We are currently seeking a Group Treasury Accountant to join our Group Treasury and Investor Relations team based in Bowen Hills, QLD. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work within a global treasury function, supporting ALS’s international operations through high-quality reporting, process management, and financial governance. The day to day In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting, administration, and reporting activities of the ALS Group’s internal treasury operations. Key responsibilities include: • Managing end-to-end financial reporting for ALS Group Finance Pty Ltd • Maintaining intercompany loan registers and related documentation • Liaising with Tax to manage transfer pricing and cross-border finance compliance • Administering banking platforms, access, and user management • Preparing and managing loan notices, covenant compliance certificates, and USPP administration • Maintaining treasury registers for bank accounts, facilities, guarantees, and FX positions • Settling and confirming treasury FX deals and related transactions • Managing monthly accounting for treasury transactions including interest accruals and revaluations • Assisting with treasury reporting, surplus cash analysis, and half-year/full-year disclosures • Supporting daily cash position processes for Australia and New Zealand as required The essentials We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a dynamic global environment. You’ll bring: • A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business, or Applied Finance • Minimum 3 years’ accounting or finance experience • Advanced MS Excel skills • Treasury, banking, or financial reporting experience (desirable) • Exposure to ASX-listed or multinational corporate environments (desirable) • Strong communication and relationship management skills • A positive, collaborative, and self-motivated approach • CA or CPA qualification (or progress toward, desirable) • Knowledge of IBM Planning & Analytics Workspace and/or Power BI (highly regarded) Working at ALS The ALS team is a diverse and dedicated community united by our passion to make a difference in the world.
