Key responsibilities for a Ramp and Baggage Agent: Loading and unloading of ULD’s Loading and unloading aircraft Cargo Baggage management- lifting baggage with a maximum weight of 32kg per piece Assisting with the movement of Ground Services Equipment e.g. aircraft stairs, mobile conveyors, tugs, belt loaders etc; Assist with safe and timely Aircraft push back and towing activities, driving and operating diverse Pushback tractors both conventional and Tow-bar-less types Follow direction during shift to achieve required timely aircraft scheduled departures Hands on capacity handling a range of duties To be successful you will: Be available for shift-work across a 24/7 roster including mornings, evenings and weekends Have a full Victorian Driver’s License (mandatory) Willing to complete a full pre-employment medical/Drug and Alcohol testing along with a satisfactory security clearance (ASIC) What we offer in return: Most competitive payrates 5 Weeks Annual Leave (accrued on all time worked) Free onsite parking Uniform, PPE and ID cards paid full by dnata Retail discounts in Melbourne Airport Generous penalty rates Reward and recognition program Full time opportunities once you have been with the business for 9 months Great team environment Extensive training and support Opportunity to work for a Global company Opportunities for career development and advancement Please note that employment with dnata Airport Services Pty.
