About The Role The General Manager, Enterprise Architecture & Technology Strategy will define and drive DBG Health\'s enterprise-wide technology vision, ensuring systems and platforms from ERP and CRM to supply chain, data and digital systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with strategic goals. Reporting to the CIO, this role owns enterprise architecture functions, shapes technology strategy and investment roadmaps, and champions modernisation, cloud adoption, and integration. As the guardian of architectural standards, the General Manager fosters an architecture-led culture of design discipline, interoperability, and innovation, partnering with business leaders to deliver value, compliance, and a future-ready technology ecosystem that supports growth, operational excellence, and trust. Role & Responsibilities Own and govern DBG Health\'s enterprise architecture framework, ensuring platforms are scalable, secure, and strategically aligned. Define technology standards by establishing and maintaining architecture principles, standards, and reference models across applications, data, integration, infrastructure, and security. Develop multi-year technology strategy and investment roadmaps, identifying emerging technologies and translating business objectives into actionable initiatives. Provide design assurance and architectural oversight for major programs (ERP, HCM, CRM, WMS, Digital, Data), ensuring alignment with enterprise principles and security standards. Lead governance forums, review architectural exceptions, and ensure technology investments deliver maximum value and compliance with standards. Mentor and develop architecture teams, fostering strategic thinking, collaboration, and strong stakeholder influence. Provide thought leadership on cloud adoption, modern workplace strategies, and cross-platform integration, balancing innovation with risk and sustainability. Skills & Experience Extensive experience leading enterprise architecture or technology strategy functions in large, multi-entity, or regulated organisations; experience in regulated industries and emerging technologies is highly desirable. Deep knowledge of architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent) and extensive experience governing complex architectures across ERP, CRM, HCM, data, and digital ecosystems. Proven ability to translate business strategy into actionable multi-year technology roadmaps, with experience in cloud adoption, integration, analytics, and digital workplace platforms. Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, middleware, and cross-platform interoperability, ensuring scalable and secure solution designs. Experience in IT governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance (TGA, FDA, GDPR, Australian Privacy Act), with a track record of enforcing architectural standards. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor diverse architecture teams and influence senior technical and business stakeholders in complex decision-making. Ability to evaluate technology investments for strategic fit, cost-effectiveness, and long-term value, balancing innovation, risk, and sustainability.
