The Position This position will provide strong leadership across the City Works Team, delivering AlburyCity's civil infrastructure construction and maintenance projects. Qualifications & experience Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Civil Construction or relevant discipline or equivalent, relevant work experience Class C (standard) Driver's Licence (compulsory to have & maintain) Significant demonstrated experience in the management of civil construction and maintenance services Experience in the leadership and management of a diverse team Tasks & responsibilities Oversee the delivery of City Works daily works operations. Lead and manage the team including; performance management, training & development, workflow coordination, workforce planning and developing a high level of morale and harmony. Ensure the road network is maintained and developed in accordance with agreed service levels and asset management plans. Ensure major construction projects are completed in accordance with the project directives and agreed service levels. Ensure the delivery of customer service commitments including quality of services and response times. Manage community consultation processes leading to approval of strategies and development plans. Hours Based on a 35 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines.
