About the Role: We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team for a critical project involving complex integrations across enterprise SaaS platforms. You will play a key role in testing system and data integrations, validating end-to-end workflows, and ensuring API and interface reliability. As a Quality Engineer, we expect you to possess a high level of knowledge and exposure across various software development lifecycle models and have the ability to accelerate quality with the application of appropriate tools and approaches. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential as you will be frequently guiding people on testing-related topics, and reporting on all elements of the test process and phases. You will be required to demonstrate a breadth of experience working in a testing / quality engineering role, including the day-to-day activities of this job—test analysis and improvement, design and review, execution, defect management, reporting, leading small teams, contributing to planning and estimation, etc. Essential Skills and Experience: Strong experience in System, Integration, and End-to-End Testing across SaaS platforms Proven experience in testing APIs using tools such as Postman, including thorough validation of request/response payloads and error handling Exposure to one or more major SaaS platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Workday, MS D365, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Dayforce, ADP Workforce Now) Competence in writing and executing SQL queries or equivalent for backend data validation Ability to critically analyse functional and non-functional requirements to derive effective test scenarios Demonstrated understanding of risk-based testing and how risk influences test strategy and coverage Comfortable working with Agile and hybrid delivery models Strong verbal and written communication and persuasion skills – must be a team player Exposure to test automation tools or frameworks and a basic understanding of automation principles ISTQB Foundation/Advanced certification and/or Certified Agile Tester accreditation preferred Culture and Benefits: We believe in fostering a culture where our people are rewarded for the work they do and looked after from their first day at Planit!
