Position Description: Client Services Manager Financial Planning Practice – Gold Coast, Queensland Position Overview The Client Services Manager is a pivotal role within our dynamic financial planning practice based on the Gold Coast. This role is responsible for the efficient and professional management of client service operations, working closely with financial planners, paraplanners, and administrative staff to deliver an exceptional client experience. The successful applicant will be passionate about client engagement, compliance, and process enhancement, helping us maintain our reputation for outstanding service across the financial planning industry. About The Role We’re looking for an experienced Client Service Manager with at least 3 years of experience working in a financial advisory firm —someone who is proactive, a problem solver with strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail. Key Selection Criteria · Proficiency in client management software (such as Xplan, AdviserLogic, or similar) and Microsoft Office suite. · Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and best practice standards. · Minimum 3 years of experience as CSM working in a financial advisory firm · Strong understanding of advice implementation processes and platforms (Xplan, Microsoft, investment and insurance platforms) · Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail · Well organised, responsive and able to manage competing priorities · A natural collaborator who values being part of a close-knit team · Relevant qualifications in financial services, business, or client management are highly regarded. Key Responsibilities · Collaborate with our adviser to ensure seamless client outcomes · Support the adviser in managing client relationships and overseeing the end-to-end implementation of advice · Managing communications with clients and external stakeholders. · Preparing advice documentation and regulatory form's including renewal notices · Managing fund transfers, applications, redemptions and associated investment administration tasks · Managing life insurance applications, implementation and modifications · Onboard new clients, ensuring all documentation, compliance requirements, and data entry are handled efficiently.
