Senior Associate - Property & Development We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Associate to join our Property & Development team in Melbourne. The team have subgroups spanning areas such as general property transactions/development, commercial leasing, retirement living and local and state government, so we have an interest in candidates with exposure to those particular areas or with experience in one or more of the types of work noted above. Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesRun complex commercial, industrial, retail and residential transactions, acquisitions, bulk developments, larger project work/transactions or leasing matters.Contribution to business development and marketing activities.Supervision and mentoring of staff including lawyers, law clerks and non-legal staff.Support ISO 27001 compliance by role modelling information security best practices, ensuring employees, contractors and suppliers understand their information security responsibilities, and promoting appropriate training and awareness.Skills/KnowledgeDemonstrated experience in one or more of the subgroups noted above, including project work, commercial drafting, commercial leasing, retirement living transactions or matters relating to property sales.Strong interpersonal skills.Strong leadership skills.Experience5 years PAE.
