As a Service Controller, you’ll be the go-to person for issuing repair and maintenance approvals for our fleet of commercial vehicles. You’ll ensure that repairs are carried out efficiently and within budget while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation. INCLUDED IN WHAT YOU'LL DO: Issue and approve vehicle repair and maintenance requests to our clients repairer network, ensuring KPI benchmarks are met. Reconcile and process repair invoices with precision. Ensure warranties are claimed, and cost savings are recorded. Identify vehicles with poor service history and work closely with the account management team to ensure proper servicing. WHAT YOU HAVE: Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years of practical experience. 2-3 years of experience as a Service Advisor is a bonus. Strong understanding of Commercial, EWP, Forklift, and Hydraulic applications, along with a solid grasp of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations. Excellent phone manner, communication skills, and the ability to negotiate confidently. You’re cool under pressure and can prioritise tasks efficiently.
