Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north. Services are provided through our five main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg. This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic administrative team leader to join our team and drive the development of administrative team of this new service. Key Responsibilities include: Oversee the administrative operations of the Department of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine.Support the respiratory function laboratory, sleep laboratory, CPAP program and outpatient clinics and general department with reception and administrative support.Coordinate staff to perform billing of completed testing in accordance with Medicare Australia and National Funding ModelrequirementsOversee management of accounts payable, stock management and ordering of consumablesOversee the rostering of administrative staff and completion of payroll for the department.Oversee the development of administrative policy and procedure docmentationCo-ordinate departmental meetings To be successful in this role you will have: Leadership experience or demonstrated desire to lead and collaborate with interdisciplinary teamsDemonstrated ability to work under pressure, prioritising work to meet deadlinesDemonstrated initiative and enthusiasm, approachable, flexible natureCommitment to continuous improvement and open to changeStrong problem-solving skillsWell-developed customer service and conflict resolution skills Next Steps . . .
