THE ROLE Applications are sought from a passionate Senior Advisor with experience in delivering impactful capability programs within mining sector. The responsibilities of this role will include: Drive the implementation of leadership development programs across the organisation Lead the succession planning and talent initiatives to empower our people to make a difference Facilitate programs to help embed the OBM Values and build high performance teams Coordinate annual engagement survey and implementation of organisation wide initiatives to support high levels of engagement Coordinate the Performance Development Discussion processing including quarterly ‘check in’ and development plans Assist with coordination of early careers development programs Work with WHS teams to implement psychosocial hazard management initiatives Drive employee communication initiatives Full position description will be provided to shortlisted candidates prior to interview. This role will be offered on a fixed term basis for a period of 8 months. ABOUT YOU To be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience: Tertiary qualifications in human resources, organisational psychology or equivalent Proven experience in organisational development with a focus on leadership and talent strategies A flair for influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels Strong project delivery skills Solid understanding of internal communication strategy and mediums High energy and strong work ethic A passion for making a difference in people’s professional journeys Creative, innovative and solutions focussed Experience in mining or resource sector preferred Experience in generalist HR desirable Your motivation: We are looking for people who want to make a difference, love to challenge themselves and others to do better and pursue solutions with intent.
