This is a strategic sales role focused on driving new business opportunities, nurturing high-value client relationships, and contributing to the ongoing success of their enterprise risk and compliance portfolio. Role Overview: Business Development Manager – Melbourne As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying and closing software and services deals within your customer base. As a true new business "Hunter" you will be responsible for business origination and will pass over the accounts you win to a dedicated Account Management team after a period of time, typically 3-6 months. Key responsibilities: New business development into tier 2 and tier 3 banking, finance, insurance, super, telco, utilities, betting and gaming companiesAchievement of monthly and quarterly new business sales targetsInternal and external key stakeholder managementDevelopment of a detailed territory planCommercial and legal contractual negotiationsPresenting at industry events and conferences Key skills required: A true Business Development sales professional - someone who loves hunting and moving on to the next opportunityProven track record of sales, ideally having sold data, analytics, KYC, credit, risk, anti fraud type solutionsTransactional and strategic sales experience- short (monthly) to medium to long sales (6 month) cycles.Experience of dealing at Heads of levelCommercial and legal contractual negotiations This represents an outstanding opportunity to develop your career within a global leader that is growing rapidly across Australia.
