Key Responsibilities: Implementing and maintaining efficient operational processes to ensure smooth running of the depot. Managing and supervising depot staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management. Overseeing inventory management and ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained. Developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure compliance with regulations. Collaborating with other departments to coordinate logistics, transportation, and delivery schedules. Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. Handling customer enquiries, issues, and complaints in a professional manner. Preparing regular reports on depot performance for senior management review Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures The successful applicant will require: Previous experience in heavy vehicle &/or fuel industry an advantage Proven understanding of Fatigue Management, Mass Management, Quality Assurance and Chain of Responsibility legislation Sound Microsoft Office skills and attention to detail Effective communicator with proven record of building & maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
