Your Employer Our client is a long-established agribusiness with a vertically integrated poultry enterprise. They operate in Queensland with significant investment in farm infrastructure, water systems, and construction projects to support large-scale production. Your Role As a Plumber, you will be responsible for water infrastructure, repairs, maintenance, and gas/plumbing systems across the business. This full-time role is critical in ensuring reliable water supply, waste management, and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair water and wastewater systems across farms and facilities. Conduct plumbing works on construction projects, including pipelines, bores, pumps, and treatment systems. Carry out gas line and hot water system installations and repairs. Undertake trenching, pipe laying, concreting, and related construction tasks. Maintain and service reverse osmosis systems, iron plants, and water treatment infrastructure. Respond to urgent call-outs and attend scheduled maintenance as required. Ensure all works comply with plumbing regulations, safety standards, and biosecurity protocols. Liaise with the Water Manager and other farm divisions to deliver efficient outcomes. Skills & Experience Current Plumbing and Gas licences (essential). Minimum 5 years’ plumbing experience, with at least 3 years in gas works. Valid driver’s licence and construction card (white/blue). Experience in farm plumbing and water treatment systems (advantageous). Ability to plan, prioritise and lead plumbing tasks across multiple projects. Salary & Benefits $76,000 – $86,000 per year plus superannuation. Full-time permanent role with long-term security.
