THE ROLE As part of the People & Culture team, you will be working closely with the Employment & IR Manager to provide timely advice to stakeholders on a broad range of employment and industrial relations matters. Key responsibilities will include: Interpretation of Enterprise Agreements, Contracts of Employment and Awards Providing advice on wages, entitlements and other statutory workplace obligations and rights Engaging with unions and assisting stakeholders during industrial disputes ABOUT YOU Formal qualifications in HR, law or IR and preferably experience in an allied industry 2 years of experience in HR/IR and a keen interest in developing along an Employment & IR career trajectory Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal Strong presentation skills, problem-solving skills and emotional intelligence Self-starter, motivated, able to work well in a team and under pressure
