The Company CGC Recruitment is partnering with a Tier 2 contractor with a strong foothold in the utilities and water infrastructure sector. With a reputation built over 15 years, they are one of the East coasts respected civil contractors, known for delivering complex infrastructure projects. Due to the recent award of major Icon Water projects in the $10M-$30M range, they are seeking a Senior Project Manager with deep experience in water infrastructure to lead project delivery across Canberra. The Role You will lead the end-to-end delivery of Water infrastructure works—managing design, stakeholder engagement, subcontractors, budgets, and on-site execution. The projects involve pipeline installation, pump stations, civil structures, and utility relocations. This is a critical leadership role that combines site presence with commercial oversight and strategic input. Key Responsibilities Deliver Water projects from pre-contracts through to handover Oversee design development, procurement, subcontractor management, and cost reporting Ensure full compliance with icon Water specifications and safety standards Manage and mentor a team including Engineers, CAs, and Supervisors Maintain strong relationships with Icon Water / its delivery partner and key stakeholders Identify and mitigate project risks early in the delivery process About You 10 years' experience in civil construction, including recent experience as Senior PM Proven track record delivering water/utilities projects up to $50M Strong understanding of Icon / Sydney Water specs and delivery processes Experience working with Tier 2 or Tier 3 civil contractors Excellent stakeholder and team management skills Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (preferred) What's on Offer Work with a global civil contractor on secured Icon Water projects Supportive commercial and delivery team Secure pipeline of water infrastructure work Competitive salary package long-term career opportunity Apply Now To express your interest, click APPLY NOW or email your CV to daniel.kundi@cgcrecruitment.com.
