About the Role As a Speech Pathologist, you will work autonomously, managing a varied and diverse workload in predominantly home-based and clinic settings, with no nursing home work. You'll join a multidisciplinary team including Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Social Work, and Speech Pathology, supported by Allied Health Assistants. A comprehensive orientation program, along with supervision and support opportunities, will ensure your success. What You'll Do Deliver person-centred speech pathology services in home and clinic settings across a regional area Collaborate with clients, carers, and families to provide practical solutions for independence and safety Provide specialist intervention for clients with dysphagia and complex communication disorders Advise on appropriate communication aids and devices Develop goals and care plans to help clients remain active and independent in their community Work with a diverse range of clients and health conditions Participate in student training programs and service development/quality improvement initiatives Who Were Looking For Qualifications: Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) or equivalent Professional Membership: Member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and participating in the SPA professional self-regulation program Experience: Knowledge and experience in delivering speech pathology services in home and community-based settings, including management of adult clients with dysphagia Advocacy: Ability to liaise and advocate across health and community care systems Skills: Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills Sponsorship: Suitably qualified candidates eligible for employer-nominated sponsorship (ANZSCO 252712) Live, Work, and Thrive in Regional Victoria Nestled in a vibrant regional area of Victoria, this location offers the perfect blend of career opportunity and lifestyle.
