The Role This Melbourne-based role offers the chance to shape the future of workforce capability in a high-impact transport environment. Reporting to the Head of Maintenance Strategy, you'll lead the development and implementation of a training strategy for the Rolling Stock directorate. Your work will ensure all staff and contractors meet mandatory training requirements, while aligning competency frameworks with business goals. Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of training strategies and competency frameworks Ensure compliance with contractual, legislative, and business training requirements Develop training content, resources, and delivery plans with SME input Source and manage external training providers as needed Analyse training feedback to drive continuous improvement Provide expert advice on training risks, opportunities, and solutions Maintain alignment with company policies and values Requirements Tertiary qualifications in business or technical discipline Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (desirable) Extensive experience managing training functions and systems Strong stakeholder engagement across technical and operational teams Knowledge of OH&S, Rail Safety Regulations, and relevant Acts Experience with LMS platforms and training record systems Understanding of Rolling Stock or engineering training environments If you're ready to take the next step in your career, apply now or contact ilan@rec-partners.com.au for more details.
